Tips
Our Captains
- Book your trip as far in advance as possible. ( Weekends & Prime Time fill up fast !)
- Each area has their prime time for each species of fish. Try to book your trip as close to this prime time as possible.
- Make certain you talk to the Captain to make sure you know what he provides and what you should provide.
- Call several Captains, have them send you their brochures for more specific details.
- Our Captains offer both trolling and drift fishing trips. Ask the Captain what they recommend or offer for each species.
All our Captains listed are USCG (United States Coast Guard) licensed Captains, licensed Ohio guides, experienced, courteous and safe under strict Coast Guard and Department of Transportation safety guidelines.
Prices
Prices vary depending upon the number of people, types of fish sought, boat size, and services provided. Call a few Captains in the area you wish to fish, and see which services and price range suit your needs best.
Licensing
Each person must have a valid Ohio fishing license. The Captains can provide you with locations where you can obtain licenses. Or you may printout an application and send in.
